back from 7day obs in ubin. we laughed, sang weird songs, talked nonsense, fooled around, kayaked for hours in the mangroves, walked in mud, got bitten, trekked for another few hours, fed huge spiders with ants and watch them inject venom into them (muahahaha), saw durian trees as well as other fruit trees, picked really huge jackfruits (but i wished we had a coconut to complete our display), slept on the cutter for a night, sailed for two days, captained, tagged and jibbed and rowed and cooked in the forest.
it was an experience of a lifetime!
i thought i would hate my stay there, but i enjoyed myself so much that when it was time to leave we group hugged so many times i couldnt help but cry. im still sad that its overr.
7days in a special group with special people doing special things that we'd normally not.
i also found out so many things about myself that i never knew before. (and many people found out actually im not the qian jin da xiao jie kind heheh.)
ships will be safe at the harbour, but that's not what ships are made for.
its good to be young. its when you are young that you have experiences of a lifetime that will be etched in your memory till the day you die.
